Create your first storyboard in three steps

Sign in, paste a short scene, and review the shots. You do not need a finished script.

KoalaStudio Editorial

On this page
  1. The three steps
  2. A scene that is long enough

The first session should answer one question: can this scene become panels? It should not try to finish a chapter. KoalaStudio’s own getting-started path is three steps.

The three steps

  1. Write the story. Twenty to 8,000 characters. A single scene is the right size.
  2. Create the storyboard. Pick one art style and a small screen count. Read the shot descriptions.
  3. Generate images. Only after the descriptions match the scene you wrote.

A scene that is long enough

Mina, an adult courier with a short black bob and a teal jacket, steps into a rainy bookshop carrying a cream envelope. The owner, an elderly man in a gray cardigan, looks up from the counter. Mina puts the envelope down and says it has to leave on the last train. The owner slides it back. The address is hers.

That paragraph has two people, a place, an object, and a turn. It is enough for a few screens. Open Story Mode, paste it, and choose Manga or Webtoon. Save the board and find it later in your storyboards.

Try it on a real scene

Paste a short story in Story Mode and review the panels before you generate images.
