Five story mistakes that make panels harder to generate
Most weak boards come from the text you pasted: too vague, too crowded, or written like a novel chapter.
KoalaStudio Editorial
When a board comes back muddled, look at the story before you look at the model. These five patterns show up again and again.
The five mistakes
- No visible facts. “A mysterious hero enters.” Add hair, clothes, and a place.
- Three scenes in one paragraph. Split the chase, the conversation, and the reveal.
- Novel interiority. “She remembered her childhood” cannot be drawn. Show an object instead.
- Dialogue as the prompt. Long speech becomes garbled lettering. Use the dialogue field.
- A new style every shot. Pick one of the six art styles and stay there.
The fix is a rewrite, not a reroll
Take the worst shot and rewrite its prompt with one action, one place, and the character’s four identifiers. Generate that shot again. If it works, apply the same rewrite to the neighbors. Hopping models first usually spends credits on the same vague sentence.
Try it on a real scene
Paste a short story in Story Mode and review the panels before you generate images.
