Edit screens and shots after the first draft
The first storyboard is a draft. Change the layout, rewrite a prompt, or regenerate one shot without starting over.
KoalaStudio Editorial
KoalaStudio keeps the board as screens and shots. A screen is the page. A shot is one panel on that page, with a title, an image prompt, dialogue, and an image history. Editing the text does not generate a new image. Generation is a separate action, and it can use credits.
What you can change
- The screen’s layout: 1 panel, 2 panels, 3 panels, 2×2, a wide top, or a wide bottom.
- The shot title, image prompt, and dialogue.
- Which image from the history is the current one.
- Add a shot, add a screen, or delete one you do not need.
Regenerate the smallest piece that failed
If one face is wrong, regenerate that shot. If a whole screen drifted, regenerate the screen. Rebuilding the board is for when the story itself was wrong. Deleting a screen removes its shots and history. A task that is already running can still use credits.
Unassigned shots stay in the list when the layout cannot show them. Change the layout or move the shot before you assume it was lost.
Try it on a real scene
Paste a short story in Story Mode and review the panels before you generate images.
